Tecumseh Municipal Pool

  • The current swimming pool in Tecumseh was built in 1963.  It is a 177,000 gallon, gravity diatomaceous filter, structure.  The 25 meter shallow end has 6 lanes for lap swimming with 2 lanes each in the 3’, 4’, and 5’ areas.  The north end of the 5’ contains a 10-foot straight tube slide.  The 10’ deep end has two 3-meter boards.  The enclosure also includes a wading pool for the younger swimmers.
  • The Pool Hours: Monday - Friday - 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
                              Saturday - 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
                              Sunday - 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

                        Adults - $4.00
                        Under 5 - $1.00 for first one, additional free

Red Cross lessons

  • The facility offers American Red Cross sponsored Learn to Swim classes through a certified instructor as well as a Lifeguard Training course.  Adult aerobics classes have also been offered.
