City Utilities
The Board of Public Works meets the first Monday of every month at 4:00 p.m. in the City Utilities Building, 627 Clay Street. Agenda items must be sent to Janelle Moran at jmoran@tecumsehne.com or call 402-335-4011 before the Wednesday prior to the meeting.

1. What services does the City of Tecumseh's Department of Utilities provide and bill to its customers?
a. The City provides and bills for electricity, water and sewer.

2. What is required by the Utility Department prior to service connection?
a. Customers must complete an application, provide a photo I.D. and contact information.

b. Customers must pay a connect fee.
c. Residential customers who are renting property in Tecumseh must pay a deposit.
d. Customers must have a mailing address.
3. What if a customer needs natural gas service?
Customers should call Black Hills Energy at (888) 890-5554 or sign up online at blackhillsenergy.com.
4. What if a customer wants to hook up to cable television or internet?
Customers should call Time Warner Cable at (800) 742-7310 or through their website at timewarnercable.com.
