- No person, firm, or corporation shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move,improve, remove, convert, or demolish any building, structure, swimming pool, or parking lot in the City, or within one (1) mile of the corporate limits of the City, or cause the same to be done, without first obtaining a Building Permit from the City Attorney, Bruce Dalluge. - To begin Water, Electric, Sewer and Trash Service as a new resident of Tecumseh, please call the City Utilities at 402-335-3570 or click here to download the application for utilities service. Click here for a Spanish version of the application. You can also visit the City office at 122 South 4th, on the east side of the downtown square in Tecumseh.
- Tecumseh is serviced by Windstream Telephone. You can access their website www.windstream.com to sign up for new service or call 1-866-971-9463 to speak to an agent.
- Spectrum is the area provider for cable and internet service. Check out their website at www.spectrum.com to obtain internet or cable television service in your home. You can also contact them by phone at 1-800-248-8823.
- DISH network is also available for TV service in Tecumseh. You can browse their website by clicking on this link https://www.usdish.com/availability/ne
- Natural Gas service is provided through Black Hills Energy. You can contact their office at 1-888-890-5554 or visit their website at www.blackhillsenergy.com.

New students in Tecumseh should be enrolled either at the
Johnson County Central Public School or St. Andrew's Catholic School.

- St. Andrews Catholic School is PreK-6 and is affiliated with St. Andrew Catholic Church. The School office is located at 6th and Jackson Street or you may call 402-335-2234.
