- The City of Tecumseh Transit System serves all of Johnson County. The bus has a capacity for 12 passengers plus 2 wheelchairs. Tecumseh Transit is open to the general public, including persons with disabilities. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings and all day on Fridays, the bus is available in the Tecumseh area for local appointments. On Tuesday afternoons, the bus goes to Vesta and Crab Orchard. On Wednesday afternoons, the bus goes to Elk Creek and Cook. On Thursday afternoons, the bus goes to Sterling.
- The first Monday of the month the bus goes from Tecumseh to Beatrice. The second Monday of the month the bus goes from Tecumseh to Nebraska City and the third Monday of the month, the bus goes from Tecumseh to Lincoln (through Cook). If a holiday falls on a Monday, the trip is postponed until the following Monday.
