- The City of Tecumseh Transit System serves all of Johnson County. The bus has a capacity for 12 passengers plus 2 wheelchairs. Tecumseh Transit is open to the general public, including persons with disabilities and services Tecumseh, Elk Creek, Vesta, Crab Orchard, St. Mary, Sterling and Cook.
- Monthly Service:
There will be no bus next Thur-Fri, Oct 29-30. Then starting November 3, the bus will only run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30am-4pm. Please call ahead (402-335-2030) to schedule appts as the time slots are filling up quick and we have to clean the bus between passengers so cannot book solid appts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Elderly, Disabled and General Public
$1.00 per ride for City - $2 round trip
$2.00 per ride for County - $4 round trip
$15.00 per ride to Lincoln, Beatrice or Nebraska City
- Any person who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin by City of Tecumseh Johnson County Public Transit may file a complaint by completing and submitting the agency’s Title VI Complaint Form.
